Hello Tribe Vibers!
ICYMI things are moving at a breakneck pace around the world! The incoming U.S. admin and its DOGE department are slashing costs and uncovering a web of corruption (see USAID story below). Alberta (Canada) is embracing bitcoin with a new, fully integrated mining facility, and U.S. states are in a race to build up Bitcoin Strategic Reserves. In the midst of all this, Bitcoin start-ups are busy building out the infrastructure of this new economy and we chat to Billi Rogers of Voss Alan and 202Ware about how to ensure that these services include both beautiful and intelligent design. TLDR, she is launching an apprentice program for anyone interested in making this happen! 😉

📈 Trending News
1. USAID Exposed
The Scoop🕵️♂️: The new U.S. administration started defunding USAID this past week. “The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is (was) an independent agency of the United States government.” [1] This week, the U.S. public discovered that fruits of their labour translated into tax dollars paid, and inflation imposed through money printing, was funding an abundance of grift and money laundering globally. With an annual budget of $50bn, ostensibly to promote “doing good” across the globe, U.S. tax payers were paying for a vast range of initiatives, including but not limited to:
Depopulations programs (since 1966), specifically targeted at developing countries
$45mm to DEI scholarships in Burma
$520mm for consultant-driven ESG investments in Africa
$1.5 million for DEI in Serbia
$70,000 for a DEI musical in Ireland
$47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia
$32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru
a $2 million payment to “strengthen trans-led organizations” and “gender-affirming health care” in Guatemala
Subscriptions to to Politico, NYT and multiple primarily left-leaning media outlets
Why You Should Care🚨: The staggering waste of tax payer’s money should make every American extremely angry. But if you happen to live in another country, don’t be deluded into thinking that your government isn’t doing the same…Canada’s government, for example has spent $19m of Canadian tax payer money on educating Ghanians about sanitation. Why? Time to audit the books and establish Departments of Government Efficiency everywhere. The corruption and grift has to end. You can research U.S. spending HERE.
What This Means for Bitcoin ✨: As the U.S. starts to balance its books in a meaningful way, other countries will do the same. A period of fiscal conservatism is incoming, and an increasing number of governments and individuals will learn the value of hard money that cannot be printed and laundered around the world. Bullish on Bitcoin!
2. Bitcoin Strategic Reserves
The Scoop🕵️♂️: Multiple U.S. States have introduced and/or are voting on Bitcoin Bills and Bitcoin Strategic Reserves.
Why You Should Care🚨: The race is on. As an increasing number of jurisdictions wake up to the need to hold Bitcoin as a bulwark against rapidly debasing fiat currencies, the supply with start to dry up dramatically. You still have time, but don’t be complacent!
What This Means for Bitcoin ✨: As the world’s most finite and most transferrable asset across space and time, Bitcoin’s price can only go one way.

3. Industry’s First Fully-Vertically Integrated Bitcoin Mining Site in Alberta, Canada
The Scoop🕵️♂️: “Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) (“Bitdeer” or the “Company”), a world-leading technology company for blockchain and high-performance computing, today announced the successful close of the acquisition of a fully licensed and permitted 101 MW site and gas-fired power project situated on 19 acres of land near Fox Creek, Alberta in an all-cash transaction for $21.7 million. The site has potential to scale to 1 GW of power, reflecting Alberta’s abundant energy resources, supportive regulatory posture and pro-business environment.”
”Concurrently, the Company plans to build 99 MW of datacenter capacity for Bitcoin mining. This newly acquired site and power generation project provides the Company a unique opportunity to become the world’s first fully-vertically integrated Bitcoin miner at scale and potentially achieve some of the lowest Bitcoin mining production costs in the industry.”
”Full vertical integration: The Company will have control of the land, power generation, electrical and datacenter infrastructure as well as using its own internally developed and manufactured Bitcoin mining machines.”
Why You Should Care🚨: A cold winter climate, resource-rich landscape and a friendly provincial administration, make Alberta the ideal location for Bitcoin and Bitcoiners. The province’s Premier, Danielle Smith had this to say: “We are so pleased to welcome the world’s first net-zero, fully integrated off-grid Bitcoin mining facility — right here in Alberta. Today’s investment is another sign that Alberta continues to be a leader in technology and innovation not only across the country, but across the world. If you want to do business and have a plan to bring your own power, then Alberta is the place for you.”
What This Means for Bitcoin ✨: Bitcoin has gone mainstream, and if you are a Bitcoiner looking for a place to call home, Alberta may be it. Oh, and it just happens to have some incredible places to ski/snowboard, a couple of deserts and excellent beef.
