1. IMF Press Briefing on El Salvador

The Scoop🕵️‍♂️: TLDR: the IMF has had a meltdown over El Salvador’s adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender. At an IMF press briefing this week, Julie Kozack, Director, Communications Department stated that they were encouraging El Salvador to “limit public exposure to Bitcoin”. Lol.
Why you should care🚨: Finding itself increasingly under threat, traditional finance’s (aka TradFi) immune system is kicking in. It cannot tolerate a competing monetary system that does not feed its insatiable appetite for debt and dependency. El Salvador’s success in adopting Bitcoin and attracting a slew of investment and entrepreneurs, must be fought at all costs. What does this mean for Bitcoin?: Bitcoin doesn’t care, and likely neither does El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele. The success of his policies is evident for all to see and other countries are now following suit. Bitcoin game theory is playing out as predicted.

2. Disaster in North Carolina - Bitcoin Veterans to the Rescue

The Scoop🕵️‍♂️: Unless you have been living under a rock, it will not have escaped your notice that after hurricane Helene, North Carolina is a disaster zone. The current US administration has stated it is “out of funds” to support relief efforts having spent liberally on funding various regime-change wars and subsidising illegal immigration into the US. Moreover, they are allegedly preventing private citizens from supporting relief efforts directly. If this is true, please do the right thing, and ignore their demands.

What you can do🚨: The Bitcoin Veteran community has stepped in support relief efforts. In times like these, we are blessed to have an army of volunteers, with deep experience operating in challenging situations, on our side. You can support their relief efforts here, or visit the web page to donate using the QR code below. Both Bitcoin and Fiat Currency payments are welcome.
